In what was SUPPOSED to be an apology to Obama, watch:
- How many times Clinton actually apologises to Obama;
- How many times Clinton actually mentions Obama’s name;
- How many times Clinton actually mentions the Kennedy’s;
- How often Clinton looks directly at the camera;
Up until now, I was prepared to give Hilary Clinton the benefit of the doubt.
No more!
And can you imagine these two as running mates?
Scary thought, huh?

Recent reports indicate that Senator Hilary Clinton’s campaign debt has now topped the $30 million mark (Source: Dan Morain, The Times). During April alone, Senator Clinton raised around $21 Million, but spent almost $29 Million. No wonder she was late filing her campaign financial report!
By contrast, Barack Obama raised $31 million last month and spent $36 million, according to his report filed late Tuesday. Senator Obama’s receipts of $31 Million in April are way down on the $40 Million he collected in March and the massive $55 Million in February. Obama has now collected over $266 Million since the the start of 2007.
McCain has collected just over $100 Million during his entire campaign. But the good news is that
McCain’s primary fight is now over, allowing him to raise almost $18 Million in April, while spending only $6.4 million.
Senator John McCain was one the main authors of a Senate proposal to reduce carbon emissions by 65 percent by 2050. While Senator McCain supported an increase in auto fuel economy to 35 mpg, he opposed a 40 mpg standard.
What Senator McCain stands for, falls short of both Clinton and Obama’s stand-points – more importantly, they fall short of the measures needed for long term survival of our planet. He has also failed to vote on several important “green” issues and seems ‘behind the times.’ He is also on record as saying he will not sign any climate change deals unless India and China do so – some would say fair enough, some would say “lead.”

As previously mentioned, I think “Climate Change†is the most fundamentally important issue before us today. So how do Barack Obama stack up?
Senator Obama also supports cutting carbon emissions by 80 percent by 2050 and favors increasing the auto fuel-economy standard to 40 mpg.
Barack Obama would reduce our dependence on foreign oil and reduce oil consumption overall by at least 35 percent, or 10 million barrels of oil, by 2030, by improving energy efficiency by 50 percent. Over the next ten years he would invest $150 billion to develop climate friendly energy supplies, protect USA manufacturing bases and create millions of new jobs.
Senator Obama says he would reward domestic automakers for producing more fuel-efficient vehicles – but do Americans REALLY want smaller, more efficient cars? The real problem is – can well meant rhetoric be turned into action?

Of all the action in the USA Presidential race, I personally think “Climate Change” is the most fundamentally important one. If we do not get this right, in 50 years time none of the others will matter.
So how do the three presidential race contenders feel about climate change? Today we look at Hilary Clinton’s position.
Senator Hillary Clinton claims to be aiming for 80% emission reductions from 1990 levels by 2050. I say claims because her track record on auto fuel-economy standards is mixed: She supported an increase to 40 mpg in 2003 but opposed it in 2005. An 80% reduction is now a shared position of both Democratic presidential front runners.
Clinton’s plan is based on ever increasing efficiency levels, including increasing R&D spending to a proposed a $50 billion. Clinton would create a National Energy Council to coordinate action across federal departments and agencies.
The above is a good political platform. Whether it is achievable is highly debatable, but its what voters want to hear. Do I sound cynical? The other problem is while the USA can play a major role, it is a Whole World problem..

With her campaign reportedly in debt to the tune of $20 Million – and bleeding around $1 Million a day – WHY is hilary still running???
Leave YOUR views.
My views? There’s a fine dividing line between determined and stubborn. Hilary has crossed it. Another possibility is trying to impress voters she is no quitter to secure the spot as Obama’s running mate. My third option is insurance, just in case anything derails Obama’s campaign.
